Restrictions in Motion leads to Dysfunction
What can you do to help your energy become vibrant and healthy? There are many things I would suggest:
Chiropractic care: This can be helpful if joints are out of alignment and irritating the surrounding soft tissue. Chiropractic adjustments can vary substantially between practitioners. My technique uses a gentle adjustment includes also caring for the muscles around the area of complaint. If the soft tissue is untreated, the joints can be pulled back into an unaligned position causing a perpetual cycle of comfort/ discomfort. If you do not address the underlying cause of the muscle strain, (such as stress, sleeping position, sitting on a wallet, a bad chair at work, bending the neck to stare at a phone/ computer all day, etc.) you may see the same chain of events occur. Stress causes muscle and joint issues, which can lead to pain and changes in range of motion. We can also address the root cause of soft tissue stressors with energy work.
Exercise: It is well documented that exercise is a proven remedy for both mental and physical issues. It is challenging to get to the gym but even a small amount of exercise can help initially. I enjoy yoga and walking my dogs.
Myofascial Release: Fascia is a connective tissue that supports your muscles and organs, but it can become tight or damaged due to acute or chronic conditions, injuries, or poor posture, leading to pain and restricted movement. Myofascial Technique is a hands-on therapy designed to release tension, restore mobility, and relieve pain by targeting these fascial restrictions. By improving the smooth glide of fascia, this technique helps your body stay healthy and better handle the demands of daily life.
Think about your worldview: Your outlook on life is important. How you see the soul's connection with the body and thoughts with the physical world involves guesswork. If you're religious, you may have a spiritual mentor or rituals to help guide you. Being mindful of these views or beliefs can be beneficial.
